PURPLE MANIA (Davisson-J 2020)

PURPLE MANIA is a sunfast 9" dark purple unusual form with a yellow to green throat that makes a wonderful display on stately, tall scapes ranging from 40 to 50 inches. Bud-building scapes have 4-way branching that carry 20 buds. It consistently reblooms in my zone 7 garden for a long bloom season that starts in the midseason. PURPLE MANIA has narrow blue-green foliage with dormant, hardy plant habit. It's a cross of CAROLINA COOL DOWN x a seedling (LOUD GIRLS X PURPLE CHEETAH) and it is pollen fertile tetraploid.
